Chapter History

 

The Omega Nu Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the campus of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro on March 15, 1989.

 

The women responsible for chartering this award-winning chapter are Denise Wallington, Sherell D. Washington, Lelia McClure McClain, Maudia Watkins, Deborah Mayes, and Vivian Gaddy Nettles.

Since it's inception, the Omega Nu Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has implemented and maintained many signature programs including, but not limited to:​​

•  March of Dimes

• Stork's Nest

• Adopt-A-Street

• Pink Party for Breast Cancer Awareness
